This program, first performed at the 1996 Bloomington Early Music Festival, is a concert of music from the 14th through late 18th centuries (14th C. estampies from London, British Museum Add MS 29987, through the
music of Wolfgang Mozart, Francois Devienne and other Classical-era composers; this program also includes live, on-the-spot
improvisations on ground bass patterns for the whole ensemble).
