Mary Manning
Violinist Mary Manning is equally at home on both the baroque and modern instrument and freelances around the Puget Sound in many
orchestras and ensembles. At her home in Gig Harbor she teaches violin and viola privately and enjoys playing folk fiddle with a group of
friends. As a member of the Chinook Piano Trio with pianist Bruce Berry and cellist Holly Reeves she has appeared at the Governor's
Mansion in Olympia and recently finished a residency program at St Martin's University. Ms. Manning is principal second violin of the
Northwest Sinfonietta and the Tacoma Opera Orchestra. She has served as concertmaster for the Northwest Sinfonietta and Seattle
Pro Musica and has been a member of the Seattle, Portland, and Pacific Baroque Orchestras, Carmel Bach Festival Orchestra, and
Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra. She is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
