Jenn Crawford's bio

Jennifer Crawford, soprano

Soprano Jennifer Crawford eagerly returns to the Baroque Northwest experience after her Spring 2001 debut as the downy Daphne in Charpentier's tragic opera Acteon. Jenn currently studies with the epic Julian Patrick. Her most recent roles include Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Nella in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Jenny Diver in John Gay's The Beggar's Opera, Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, the title role in Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe, Barbarina in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, and Tisbe in Rossini's La Cenerentola. An emancipated native of South Carolina, Jenn earned her BA in Music from the College of Charleston and would eat grits everyday if she knew how to cook. In her spare time she proofreads physics textbooks for fun and profit.
