From Iberia to the New World: An Exchange of Treasures
The Spanish and Portuguese may have imposed a new way of life to the natives but
they also brought music and art and were in turn influenced by the local talent. The
Baroque Northwest quartet presents music from the Iberian Peninsula and the New
World, by composers such as Diego Fernandez de Huete, Bartolomi de Selma y
Salaverde, Santiago de Murcia, and others.
