Baroque without Borders: A Musical Tour of Europe
Music from England, France, Germany, Italy, and North America. The Baroque Northwest quartet of Kim Pineda, Ronnee Fullerton, Elizabeth Brown, and August Denhard open the season with a tour of the great courts of Europe, plus the world premiere of our newly commissioned piece Rouge by Montreal-based composer, flutist, and conductor, Matthias Maute. The concert includes music by Johann-Joachim Quantz, Arcangelo Corelli, Antoine Forqueray, and the ubiquitous Jaques Paisible.
